Both the publisher and I have had real life interfering with our work. So I barely wrote more than blog posts in July, and she delayed the new chapter that was to be published. However, chapter 5 should be in place by the time you read this blog today.

The big news this month is the premiere of my new romantic comedy The Trouble With Love. To catch a thief, Susannah Quinn, a by-the-book deputy, and D. E. Hogan (just call me Hogan), an undercover FBI agent, pose as husband and wife. Can two mismatched, pretend lovers, caught in a comedy of errors courtship, catch a thief, recover stolen jewels–and resist the sweet siren call of desire?

Chapter 1 will be published March 1, and a new chapter will be published each month until November 2010 brings The End.

To enhance your reading experience, I’ve created a special soundtrack for The Trouble With Love. Each month a new song will be added to the soundtrack to accompany that month’s new chapter. You’ll find it on either of my blogs Sling Words and Joan Slings Words.
