Ad Rates

Since I’ve written a lot of advertising copy in my freelance career, I’ve decided to offer this service directly.

I love to talk – especially about people, places, events, and products that offer something worthwhile to others. If this describes you, your website, or a product you offer, whether it be a book or software or a piece of office equipment, etc, then retain me to tell the Internet world about it on JOAN SLINGS WORDS.

As long as what you want me to say fits into the theme and content of this blog – and I’m very good at finding a hook in the product and molding it to fit my content – I’m happy to use my talent to help you with your publicity.

POLICIES

• If a Client decides to extend an ad beyond the original contracted term, payment must be received according to the date set in the Ad Contract in order to be extended.

• If Client is to provide any data, images, coding, content, or other information or materials, or requests changes, all elements must be received no later than the deadline in the Ad Contract in order for the ad to appear at the scheduled publication date. If the image you supply has to be “Photoshopped” due to size or to remove or edit the image, I’ll give you the choice of changing it to something else or I’ll edit for a  charge of $5.00 for this service and use it only upon your approval.

•All ads must be paid in advance.

• Payments are to be made via PayPal only. PayPal account information to be provided upon successful conclusion of Ad Contract. If you need more information or would like to place an order, please email me at Joan at JoanReeves dot com with AD REQUEST in the subject box.

• I will NOT accept advertisements in these categories: adult websites, pornography, other such information or materials; prescription drugs, medications, illegal substances, rehab facilities, or websites dealing with those subjects; casino, gambling, or gaming websites; any inflammatory or derogatory viewpoints, websites, or such that is aimed at other’s religion, ethnicity, or national origin.

• I reserve the right to refuse any advertising.

Description:
Short blog post review of site, product, or service of no less than 200 words with 1 Link.

Published on main page, archived in appropriate categories, remains in place no less than 1 year after publication unless Client prefers otherwise.

Cost: $18.00

Short Fiction Special With A Link In Foreword or End Notes
Each story would be linked into an overall theme with recurring characters and a “moral of the story” which highlights a truth in the Client’s business. Think of this as a series of entertaining commercials.

Using fiction techniques, I create a story or a series of related and linked stories to put the Client’s point across while entertaining the reader. An example is The WindChime Chronicles, a 12 month series I wrote for a Client for his electronic newsletter. This works great as an offering of print or electronic newsletters or as a feature page on a website.

Cost: $50.00 per episode
