Happy Halloween

Halloween_JackO2Trick or treat; smell my feet.

Give me something good to eat.

Yes, that’s what we used to say when I was a kid. Taught it to my kids too, and they still say it on Halloween.

Dressing Up

Everyone likes to dress as someone different on Halloween. Mason Cooley said:  “Clothes make a statement.  Costumes tell a story.”  I think that’s true. Just do a random survey of men and women. You’ll find the women, when young, wanted to be pretty little Cinderellas, princesses, and such while the guys wanted to be cowboys, soldiers, super heroes, warriors, and such.

As adults, the princess may now be a French maid, and the warrior is now Luke Skywalker, but women still want to be pretty and men still want to be heroes.

Whatever your character and costume choice, enjoy the celebration. Party hearty and safely.

Takeaway Truth

Too bad we’re not all in a rock band. According to Gwen Stefani, “Being in a band you can wear whatever you want – it’s like an excuse for Halloween everyday. “
