Throw Me Something, Mister!

Some of my fondest memories revolve around New Orleans and Mardi Gras. The shouts ring out: “Throw me something, Mister,” as everyone along the parade route vies for the trinkets tossed into the crowds. One of the things I like best are the Mardi Gras Masks worn by just about everyone. I have a collection hanging on my den wall with each one representing a fun time in New Orleans.

Celebrated Everywhere

Now, it seems as if lots of places celebrate Mardi Gras, and I don’t just mean down in Rio. Here in Texas, it’s a very big deal at Galveston. Lots of coastal cities from here to the Big Easy to Mobile and up the Atlantic seaboard, celebrate Mardi Gras. If you’re new to this good time for all, I have a treat in store for you: Toomey’s is the place to shop for your masks and Mardi Gras supplies.

Redesigned Website

Toomey’s Mardi Gras is an open secret in New Orleans. They’ve been in the business of supplying beads, masks, and decorations since 1978, and they’ve been on the web as Toomeys-MardiGras.com since 1999. Whether you’re planning a parade float or planning to throw a party, they can supply you with what you need at a very affordable price since they import directly from manufacturers in China.

Website Resources

Their Secure website is easy to navigate with a Category Selector that will help you find what you’re looking for. Below that on the website is Support which has their FAQ explaining all their policies and practices along with other information links you might find helpful. For help from a RLP (real live person), use the toll free phone number listed on the website. Of course they take major credit cards for your convenience.

For more than 30 years, they’ve been the place to shop for Mardi Gras and for party supplies. Just as they don’t just sell beads, they’re also not just for that one event in the spring. They can help you plan any kind of party from New Year’s to Christmas.

Takeaway Truth

Life is short. Make it sweet, and, whatever the occasion, let the good times roll.
